The terms contained herein (‘the terms’) constitute the entire agreement between MumSquad Connect Ltd, company number 08074699 (‘MumSquad’) and the user.


2.1. In order to use the MumSquad web app, the user must have a Facebook account.

2.2. Once an account is created, the user authorises MumSquad to access, display and use certain information from their Facebook account, e.g. profile pictures.


3.1. A user may delete their account at any time by clicking on ‘delete account’ on their profile page. The account will be deleted immediately.

3.2. The user’s information and content may take a short period to be completely removed from the MumSquad web app and server.


4.1. MumSquad reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend any account.

4.2 MumSquad may use technological, operational, legal or other means to enforce the terms at any time, without liability and without providing prior notice to the user.


5.1. MumSquad operates a zero tolerance policy regarding the content which:

a) contains offensive language

b) is likely to upset, embarrass, intimidate, harass or threaten any person;

c) constitutes a breach of criminal law;

d) is pornographic, obscene or offensive to human dignity;

e) encourages or incites criminal activity, including but not limited to terrorism or racial hate-crimes;

f) is defamatory or libellous;

g) relates to commercial activities, including but not limited to, sales, competitions, advertising or links to other websites;

h) involves the transmission of junk mail or ‘spam’;

i) contains any viruses, spy ware, worm programmes or other malicious code;

j) infringes third party rights, including but not limited to, intellectual property rights.

5.2. Users can report any abuse or report other users by contacting MumSquad at


6.1. Users are responsible and liable for all content which is created by them.

6.2. Users will indemnify MumSquad against any claims made in connection with the user’s content.

6.3. Users must not display any personal contact or banking information on their profile page. This includes, but is not limited to, home addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, URLs, credit or debit card details or other banking information.

6.4. If users reveal any personal information to other users, whether by email or otherwise, this is at their own risk. MumSquad cannot be held liable.

6.5. Users are encouraged to be cautious and vigilant when enclosing details about themselves to third parties online.

6.6. Due to the nature of MumSquad as a public community, the user’s content will be visible to other users of the MumSquad web app around the world.

6.7. Users must ensure that they are comfortable in sharing their content, especially that which relates to their children.

6.8. Users agree that their content may be viewed by other users and any person visiting the MumSquad web app.

6.9. Users represent and warrant that they have all necessary licenses and rights to the content which they enter onto the MumSquad web app.

6.10. MumSquad may remove, edit, limit or block access to a user’s content at any time, without notice or permission.

6.11. MumSquad is not obliged to review or display the user’s content.

6.12. Content is stored on our servers and displayed via the MumSquad web app.


7.1. Content belongs to the user of MumSquad who uploaded the content.

7.2. Users do not have any rights in relation to other users’ content.

7.3. Users may not use other users’ information for commercial purposes, to harass, threaten or spam others.


8.1. The remainder of the content on the MumSquad web app belongs to MumSquad.

8.2. Any trademarks, logos or other intellectual property which appear on the MumSquad web app are owned, controlled or licensed by MumSquad and are protected by intellectual property law.

8.3. Users are granted a non-exclusive, limited, revocable, non-transferable and personal license to access MumSquad’s content under the following conditions. Users shall not:

a) Use, sell, modify or distribute MumSquad’s content except as permitted by the MumSquad web app;

b) Use MumSquad’s name in keywords, metatags and / or hidden text;

c) Create derivative works from MumSquad’s content;

d) Commercially exploit MumSquad’s content;

e) Use MumSquad’s content for unlawful purposes.


9.1. The MumSquad Privacy Policy can be accessed through the MumSquad web app.

9.2. Users agree that MumSquad can use personal data in accordance with the aforementioned Privacy Policy.


10.1. The MumSquad web app may operate with third-party owned or operated platforms and services, e.g. Facebook.

10.2. The user may need to register with and provide account information to the third party platform in order to access the MumSquad web app.

10.3. The user agrees to comply with any terms, conditions or requirements of the third party platform, e.g. Facebook’s Terms of Use.

10.4. If the MumSquad web app contains links to third party websites or resources, the user agrees that MumSquad is not liable for:

a) The accuracy of such material; or

b) The content, products or services on or available through such websites or resources


11.1. MumSquad may contact the user by email or other communication avenues related to the MumSquad web app or services.

11.2. Users can unsubscribe to these communications.

11.3. The primary method of unsubscribing may be to email MumSquad at


12.1. The MumSquad web app and content are provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, fitness for purpose or non-infringement.

12.2. In the event that the foregoing exclusion of warranty is not permitted by applicable law, MumSquad will grant the minimum warranty required by applicable law.

12.3. MumSquad does not make any warranties that the MumSquad web app:

a) will be uninterrupted, secure or error free

b) or content is correct, accurate or reliable

12.4. The user is solely responsible for their interactions with other users.

12.5. MumSquad is not responsible for the conduct of any users.

12.6. MumSquad is not responsible for any loss arising out of the transmission, use of data or inaccurate user content.

12.7. Neither MumSquad nor its owners or agents will be liable for any damage, direct or indirect, including, but not limited to, loss of data, income, profit, loss of or damage to goodwill, property or third parties arising out of the user’s use of the MumSquad web app or its content.

12.8. If the user becomes dissatisfied with the MumSquad web app, his sole remedy is to terminate his account and stop any use of the MumSquad web app.

12.9. The user hereby waives any and all claims arising out of their use of the MumSquad web app.

12.10. The user is responsible for ensuring that any material obtained from the MumSquad web app is free from viruses or other harmful components.

12.11. The user accepts that:

a) the MumSquad web app will not be provided uninterrupted or error free

b) defects may not be corrected

c) MumSquad or the server that makes it available may not be free from viruses or bugs, spy ware or other malicious software

d) MumSquad is not responsible for damage to the user’s computer hardware, software or other technology, including, but not limited to, damage from any security breach, virus, tampering, fraud, error, interruption, defect, omission, network or computer failure, technical or other malfunction.

12.12. No delay or failure of MumSquad in exercising any right under the terms shall operate as a waiver of such right.


13.1. The user is responsible for all of their actions and the content they place on the MumSquad web app.

13.2.The user agrees to indemnify MumSquad, our partners, licensors, affiliates, contractors, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents against any third party claims, proceedings, damages, demands, losses, liabilities and expenses, including, but not limited to, legal fees suffered or reasonably incurred by MumSquad as a result of, or in connection with the user’s:

a) breach of these terms;

b) violation of any law or rights of third parties;

c) uploading or submission of content to the MumSquad web app;

d) use of the MumSquad web app;

e) negligence, omissions or misconduct

13.3. MumSquad may settle and pay any and all claims which are brought against MumSquad without the user’s prior consent.

13.4. If asked, the user will fully cooperate with MumSquad in defending any relevant claim.


14.1. The terms may be amended without notice. MumSquad reserves the right to amend the terms at any time. The updated version of the terms will be posted on this page.

14.2. The user’s continued use of MumSquad following any amendment constitutes their acceptance of the amended terms. They will be legally bound by the new updated terms. If the user does not accept changes to the terms, they should stop using MumSquad immediately.


15.1. In the event that any of the terms are declared illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction then to the extent that the term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed from the terms.

15.2. The contract and its remaining terms shall remain in force and will continue to be binding and enforceable.


16.1. The MumSquad web app, its content and any member content, as well as the terms contained herein, are to be governed and interpreted by the laws of England and Wales.

16.2. Users hereby consent to and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


17.1. In the event that there is a discrepancy between this English language version and any translated copies of the terms, the English version shall prevail.

17.2. The terms, and any rights or licenses granted herein, may not be transferred or assigned by the user but may be assigned by MumSquad without restriction.
